How about the awful threesome from when our kids were little:

1. That dufus Barney song

2. It's a small world after all

&

3. That awful Munumunah mess from the Muppets (not sure how to spell the horrible name)

The only antidote to an earworm is to have a throwdown song that you absolutely love ready to take its place. When you hear crap, cue up your mental tune and you're gold.

That's a bad one and runs on the car radio way too often.

My usual cure for a song stuck in my head is to think a song I really like and "run" that one over the annoying one.

I whacked my head 2 years ago and since then this stuck song shite is constant and drives me insane..a single trapped song, that I don't even have to actually listen to, can last for weeks and it really gets more than annoying..it also stops for no reason I can figure out only to start again with a different song.
I am so sick of it.

Yep sometimes. The most recent is that song Rosanna from Toto.

It drove me nuts. I had it stuck in everyone’s head I work with by the end of the day.

Earworms.
Try counting or doing addition problems in your head.
I've also heard that asking yourself "what do you think she will do" in your mind helps.
