Does anyone actually clip coupons and use them?

They are in the paper every Sunday but it seems like alot of hassle.

I stopped about 10 years ago. Saving .25 on the toothpaste isn't worth my time.
And yes there are some people serious about this crap, but I think they end up buying a bunch of crap that they don't need in the end.

I wouldn't call myself an "extreme" couponer, but I've walked out of the store several times with cash in hand and a basket full of mini buffalo chicken sandwiches, Cling wrap, and fruit flavored marshmallows

Oh that's just how they justify spending money. Claiming it was "on sale" or on "clearance." Or that they used a coupon and "saved money." Nope, still money out the door. None saved.

I respect the frugality of those who clip (use their phone) and save.
But I can't bring myself to get all my coupons together before shopping.
I didn't go to school and hit it as hard as I did so that I could spend my adulthood clipping coupons to get 18 cents off of peanut butter.

My wife(no pics) she actually does this but not to extreme at all. Along with any coupons on her phone. She has a shopping problem and I’m not a complete OT baller, but at the end of the year however much she has saved she has that amount to spend on whatever she wants ( each week the savings from coupons go into an account) this may sound weird but my wife enjoys doing this it’s her thing.

Only person left that is really serious about it is that old lady that follows me around and gets in the check out line ahead of me every single damn time. Then whips out the ziploc baggie full of those things.

I use the harbor freight coupon on the rare occasion I need something from there. Popeyes used to have coupons too
