I don't know what any of that means. You must dabble in the dark arts.

I have not. With that said, think about how much money you could make at the time of a hurricane selling these at a grocery store. The only issue would be shelf life, and production. I know we live in the south and hurricanes are almost guaranteed, but what if we had a few slow hurricane seasons. As a investment buisness you be bankrupt.

”the mental flavor”?

Maybe you meant the sentimental flavor?

And the retort pack. Don’t forget about it.

I love the O-T.

Got some during Katrina but never ate them. If you get hungry enough it's good to have but they weren't designed for civilians.

Hate to tell you but they have expiration dates and your’s are most likely way expired.

The shelf life is pretty short, and the higher the storage temperature the shorter the shelf life, they are generally a poor choose for the "prepper",in addition to being totally wrong nutrition wise for the average person .

I could have thought mental flavor through a little more maybe just simply visual appeal.

The metal/plastic pouch is indeed called a retort pouch.

This. Especially when they are all ya got for day after day....

At NTC and in Saudi/Iraq (Desert Storm) they would stop you up for a good 3 days, packed with sodium and calories, and when you DID have to shite, it was always a rock hard, oversized, lincoln log, arse ripping turd.

They were designed for combat, id rather have a brick to crap than loose stool in combat anyway.

I got a deal on a case of Indian Army MRE's one time in Flarda. It was like US MIL MRE's but all Indian flavors. Ate a couple for the novelty, shite badly, threw them all away.

Ate plenty after Katrina and still have a box in the attic. Man they had tons of those after the storm.

Unless your attic is conditioned, that would be horrible conditions to store them. I wouldn't eat them if I were you.
