Milk is disgusting, I don't drink that shite because I'm not a child or a baby calf. I can't believe it took 4 pages, but drink A2 Milk if you still aren't weaned as a grown adult.

Milk is the one thing I buy the "organic" (supposedly) version of. Lasts much longer

Spend more and buy the Horizon brand organic milk in the wax carton. That shite stays good for a suspiciously long time.

Make sure your fridge temp is low enough and put it in farthest reaches of your fridge.

Does yours have a digital temp readout?

32f is ideal.

My wife says she notices this happens when she does online order for pickup. I don’t think they are handling it properly after they throw it on the cart as they put the order together.

Time spent above 41 degrees is gonna accelerate spoilage.

My fridge reads 37 degrees and I was told temp is fine. I’ll see if I can figure out how to lower temp if need be.

If you buy organic that usually means you’re also getting milk that is pasteurized at a higher temp (ultra pasteurized). It has a longer shelf life and tastes better because the higher temp caramelizes some of the sugar in the milk and gives it a sweeter (not “sweet”) flavor.

Ever since we started buying organic I have yet to have milk go bad before the date on the carton. And I even screwed up and let a couple half gallons sit out on the porch in 80F temp for a couple hours once. It ended up fine.

I’ve seen those carts sitting around with cold stuff in them.
I never buy perishable stuff on line

Just happened to me on Friday. It was like 3 days from the expiration date, but oh boy, was it disgusting when I drank it.

You are likely having your milk home delivered. It probably sits in someones back seat for at least 30 min, but probably more like 1 hr+, as your delivery driver saunters from location to location in the back seat of a 2007 Civic in 95*+ temps.

Your milk is denatured.

I buy at least 3-4 gallons per week on special trips for our family of 5 for this exact reason.
