Does Anne Heche's health insurance pay her medical bills?

It's pretty clear Anne Heche deliberately crashed her car, ultimately causing her death.
Having been in the hospital, badly burned and on life support for over a week, undoubtedly her medical bills will be astronomical.
Who pays the bills? Would her health insurance just pick up the tab after paying a deductible?
Doesn't seem like an insurance company should have to pay that.

You should become a reporter and look into it.

What's that supposed to mean?
I'm just questioning if someone deliberately causes harm to oneself, should their health insurance be on the hook to have to pay?

I was unaware of her working a full-time job that would provide her benefits. Obamacare could be bought, but how many drug addicts do that?
She was involved in 8 projects that are completed, or in post-production, so her estate will get money from those. The hospital and the house she destroyed will have to be paid for by her estate if she had insufficient insurance to cover what they are owed.

I’d guess that unless there was a specific clause in the contract stating that they didn’t have to, then the insurance company would have to pay whatever percent of the bills they are legally obligated to pay.

Study up on how the Screen Actor's Guild works and the benefits it affords them.

That's all it took for her to keep her Screen Actors Guild membership. She almost certainly had insurance through the guild.
According to the SAG twitter account she has been a member since 1987. LINK

Anyone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong or add more detail, but she was most likely at least eligible for health insurance through the screen actors guild.
Whether or not she was an active member of the SAG or me enrolled in their medical insurance plan, I have no idea.

It means you should become a reporter and you can find out the specifics to answer your question.

She was an active SAG member and got more work than 98% of their due-paying members.
Even if you had garbage care, it would still be on the hook to pay. Are you wanting them to not pay or something?

Car insurance pats your healthcare bills when you get in a car crash

A little hard to prove that, wouldn’t you say? It seems she was extremely negligent, but that’d be pretty presumptuous for an insurer to just declare she intended to cause her own injuries and death in that manner and deny coverage.

The people that lost their home are going to get a massive judgment against her estate. I imagine between them and the medical bills there won't be a lot left when it's over with.

She was in 46 movies, 34 TV shows.
Had a movie in 2019, 2020, 2021 and one that is currently in post production.
11 episodes of Chicago PD in 2018-19, 5 episodes of All Rise in 2020. And two shows for 2022 that are TBA.
A full time job isn't just a 9-5 job M-F. Do you not think she could afford her own insurance?

Cocaine and fentanyl was in her system. How do you know she is a drug addict? If someone had marijuana in their system are they are drug addict?
And if she was, I would say a drug addict who can afford it would have insurance.

Then explain to me the details of her health, and auto, insurance policies. I freely say I don't know, then you fly in like Capt. Dickhead, throwing insults.
Explain the details.
