Do you, your company, or someone you know buy cheap toilet paper?

Seems like one of the things I don't believe is worth the savings.
I'd rather not feel like I'm sand-blasting my arse with the sands of the mojave desert.
Does it just take time to get used to the coarseness of cheap toilet paper, and it callouses over?

I used to keep flushable wipes in the cubicle desk when I worked from an office for this very occasion.

Pretty sure our company buys POM from Sams. Stuff seems pretty rough. I don't do my business at work though. I live 5 mins from my office so I can just drive home to poop.
*That's not the reason I don't go at work though. I have a phobia of public/not my house restrooms.

The hospital where I work buys John Wayne toilet paper.. It's rough, tough and don't take shite from anyone...

That does sound quite freeing. However, not possible for me as I'm about as regular as they come and 9am falls when I'm at the office.

It is absolutely freeing. Think of how wide a stance you can get without having a heap of clothing wrapped around your feet. To your point about being regular. I would struggle if I wasn't on schedule to go on my lunch break. It's like clockwork.

My dad used to when he had 4 kids living with him. 3 girls + wife = lots of TP used each day. He always bought his own good TP, and he'd hide it from them

I had to travel to the Middle East frequently in the 80s and 90s. The toilet paper there was the John Wayne toilet paper another poster described. I carried in a couple of rolls of decent paper - one in my TDY apartment and another in my office desk under lock and key. I managed to survive.
