Have you ever vacationed with a wife and 3 kids? It's a workout just getting the shite down to the beach.
Here, here! That’s why I rent a six place golf cart for the week. Play beach taxi driver between beach house and beach. Meet lots of MILFS on empty runs after drop-offs.

Twice a day on days off. I’m an endorphin addict I suppose.

in the last 10ish years i've got to run downtown San Antonio, Forth Worth, McAllen, Boston, Portland, Maine, Portsmouth, NH, Flagstaff, San Diego, Vegas, NYC, Steamboat Springs, Denver, and some others I'm sure I'm missing.
Love running when I travel also. Most recently got to do 5 miles in Stillwater, OK, which was awesome.
I don’t run when we go to Europe, since you walk so much when you’re there. I still knock out the daily 200 pushups and crunches though, where ever I’m traveling.

Worlds worst at packing the clothes and saying I am and then never doing it

Short run in morning, maybe a little calisthenics

like what time we talking about? the side walks are filed with construction and smelly homeless folk and tourists stopping in the middle of the walkways. Even walking trying to dodge people is a chore.
Not saying they don’t exist but it’s pretty light around 5-6AM. That being the eastern most part of the Pacific time zone, I’m usually up early.
Definitely had to dodge some revelers at that hour though.
One time at 6ish on a run, AM I saw a woman stumble out of New York New York with a top and no pants or underwear on, jump down to the strip, fall, get up, look around, and then cross the strip, jump the barricade, cross the other side, and climb up to get to MGM arse out, then disappeared into the building.
I was at the ready to have to save a dumb ho.
ETA: I haven’t been to Vegas since 2020 before covid. No idea what it’s like now but it was doable.

I usually gain weight on vacation and spend a month losing it after.
Alcohol and food make up my vacation enjoyment

Yep. Love the fact that I can go for a run at anytime, and not at the arse crack of dawn or after working all day.
Love just having the freedom to job when I want to.

I do it as well but I bring my gi everywhere. What is even sicker is I bring a white belt to some schools and just kind of tell the instructors I am just starting out even though I am a Brown Belt.

We all have different motivators. Striving to get fitter, look better, be stronger, etc. comes in different forms.
I am being me. Me wants to get in the best shape I can, set new goals, and beat them.
For a forum obsessed with hating fat people, it’s weird you would mock me for that mindset. Unless you’re fat. Then it makes sense.

not me, I pity them. Your life is so shitty you have to work out on vacation to feel something? Replyreplies1...
Terrible mindset. I’ll do a light workout or two on vacation so I feel better and can keep having fun. Makes drinking all day and eating shite somewhat excusablle.

Same here. First thing I do when we plan a trip is find a local race or cool place to run. My two favorites so far are the greenways in Fayetteville, AR and Wilson, WY.

Not mocking you at all, you just sound like a female. Looking in the mirror to make sure your pecs are up to date is cringy as frick.

I work out every day because I’m getting old and my body needs exercise, regardless if I’m at home or on vacation, I work out in the mornings

If you come to where I am this week you do. Estes Park, Co and RMNP.
All I’ve done is workout for 4 days now hiking in the mountains.

Sure is a pretty place to run, but that altitude whupped my arse. Felt like I was running with a 75 lb. backpack on there.

Weird that you added such specificity to my statement.
I meant that when I look at myself or see myself, which does sometimes include a mirror unless I’m staring at myself in the reflection of a lake like it’s a music video from the 80s (not staring at myself in a mirror, which is weird) I see imperfection. I want to be better than that. So I hate myself just a little bit all the time.
Edit: let me be clear. This is not a healthy way to view oneself. I do not claim it to be, nor do I encourage others to view themselves through the same lens. I’m just explaining why I work out on vacations.
