By the way it's not just an Asian thing they do the same
in Germany little guest slippers and all. We don't wear outside shoes indoors. No telling what you're tracking into your house from bathrooms or parking lots. I wear socks wife has indoor shoes (that's weird to me).

Yes. I go in and out a lot. Have to sweep more but it's easier that way.

Flip flops or barefoot in the house year round. The only time I wear shoes in my house if is I'm dressed and ready to go out or have a dinner type party where casual dress is the norm.

Yes, but I have two dogs, and one of us is gonna bring dirt in the house every day. I don't like walking around with dog hair and dirt on my feet

When I get home, I always take my shoes off at the door and then wear them on my hands.
That way I get maximum usage out of them and the interior floor stays clean.
The challenges it presents have made me stronger and kept me lean.

I wear slip on sneakers (deck shoes) inside. I have hunting dogs in pens that I visit often. I don't want dog crap on the carpet so I change when I go in or out.
