Depends on the shoes. Winter with closed in shoes, yes. Summer, usually sandals and open toe, no.

Good. Nobody needs a pair of funky, furry slippers stinking up their bedroom.

When you get dressed for work do you carry your shoes outside to put them on?

I'm not sure if dive bar bathrooms have gotten any cleaner in recent times.

I won't walk inside with dirty shoes or anything but I definitely don't take them off and on 20 times per day going in and out of the house either. We have nothing but wood, slate and ceramic tile flooring.

I rarely walk around barefoot in the house. Have an old pair of Birkenstock sandles that kind of function as house shoes.

That's the point, simpleton...your shoes are filthy.

You have to be an infantile retard to assume your shoes are only dirty if they have mud on them.

So are your feet.

I agree. Always felt like I was at an adult sock party at my wife's grandparents. It was weird as hell to me.

I keep a pair of slip on boots in my shop if I'm going to be in mud. But out in the yard, on the dock, or in my shop my shoes arent getting nasty.

We have a roomba to keep the floor swept and my wife cleans the floor regularly with a steamer mopping thingy.

So dont see a problem.

I usually walk in the mud room (that's what my wife calls it) and kick my yard shoes off in there. Any of my other ones get worn in the house.

Our house is tidy and comfortable. We have a kid and a dog too. I have no desire to live in a museum either.

Wearing shoes inside a home regularly is disgusting. I try my best to train my kids to take them off before coming inside. I understand that sometimes it’s necessary for gatherings and parties but there is no reason for it in everyday life.

So if you walk into a gas station bathroom to take a leak you walk into your house with same pair of shoes?

I wear shoes pretty much everywhere. I hate to be barefoot.
