Well, David, you would be wrong.
And there is no debate on that.

Let's get buga in here. If he's turned on by the pic -> they're tight. Not turned on -> not tight.

Depends on the length and style of shirt. Also on the state of the jeans. I'm a month (of actual wear days) into wearing my raw jeans and they are just stretching in enough to expose the top button area. No telling what would happen if I washed them, I don't plan on doing that for another year or so.

what about the button downs with the straight bottom?
A straight bottom shirt is a casual shirt by design and would be worn untucked--except at work on casual Friday, tuck the shirt in.
The best way to lose the privilege of casual Friday is to go too casual and have the office look trashy.

The absolute worst is a shirt tucked in with tennis shoes. Does anyone here admit to doing this?
Engineers in my building. Once I get my PE, I will NOT do this.
Even worse, slacks with white tennis shoes

The tucking equivalent of the mullet.
Party on the right, business on the left.

I did it at my last job because it was expected. It got untucked at the end of the day as I walked to my car.
