Exactly.

Wore jeans yesterday because frick it. To adhere to policy a little I tucked polo in.

Today is casual friday. Jeans, polo untucked.

But what do I know?

I wear flip flops with sport coats.

Button down sport/dress shirts should always be tucked. Polo can go either way, but if you are going to work or something "nice", it should be tucked. I rarely wear t-shirts outside of the house unless it's something like working out or fishing. I never tuck in a t-shirt.

As far as belts, if it has belt loops, it needs a belt whether you are tucked in or not.

I've got drifit polo tucked into jeans at the office today. Doesn't look wrong to me.

Be it a polo, tshirt, dress shirt, etc. doesn't matter, if wearing with jeans imo it shouldn't be tucked in.

That just sounds crazy IMO. You don't think this looks right?

This. I really think older adult men who wear jeans with a button down and fail to tuck the shirt in look sloppy and are trying too hard. Leave that look for the millennials.

Millennials for the most part are better dressers from what I've seen, so let's not get too carried away

No tuck, unless I wear a Polo, and we are out to dinner somewhere casual.

Not sure why you're laughing. There are many high paying, white collar jobs where jeans are perfectly professional.

Because there's nothing "professional" about jeans. They may be "acceptable" in a particular business setting that is non formal, but that's likely about the extent of it.

Never tuck with jeans.

To be fair, I may not be the right person to ask since I only own 2-pair of jeans and I rarely wear them.
