No. Most restaurants here already add a "pick-up" fee.

You may as well have asked if teachers are overworked.

Weakly disguised alter is weak.
I gave a Pizza Hut waitress the tip in the early ‘80s.
And then the shank too...

Depends on the situation. I always tip at least $1

Always but only a few dollars.

Depends, I usually do, unless it’s a small order and they literally only need to place the item in the bag.
Bigger orders, or if I’m asking for a bunch of extras like sauce or something, I’ll do about 10%.

hell, some places don't even give you the option not to tip if you use your card. Lit Pizza is an example, they basically use an iPad for checkouts, you can give no less than 10%.

If they walk it out to my truck, yes. If I have to go in and get it, no.

If it’s ready and they have all the nit picky crap my wife wants correct I tip a few bucks, but if they haven’t checked or it’s crazy wrong no.

I always leave like a dollar, which now that I think about it is kinda more of an a-hole move than just not tipping at all.

I think he's saying they get at least minimum wage, unlike the wait-staff who get like $2.50/ hr and rely on tips as their main source of payment.

I always tip 10% on takeout/pickup orders!!!
They are working and deserve a tip but not as much as the waiters.

I think it's terrible that this has become legalized.

I am convinced that if I ever own a business, no matter what that business is, I will add a tip line to the receipt and watch how many people will be confused by it and add a buck or two because they would feel like maybe they should because there is a tip line. Seriously. You drove there, got out of your car and walked in to get the food and paid for it. Why would you tip this?
