If I am too lazy to make my own food and I order take out, then I tip.

The tip is for the service you are provided in the form of convenience.

Place I buy Sushi to go does a great job of packaging everything so I show my appreciation by tipping 5 - 10%.

First, we search the 10,000 other times this topic has been posted and collect the results.

Then we post it again.

When the cute chick brings the food to my car, I ask her if she wants to play just the tip.

That’s about the only tip that a pick up order specialist will receive from me.

Always in cash if I do. Many of the people working on carry out duty rotate with being a waiter/waitress at restaurants. There's a difference between a cashier at Walk On's working on half off Wednesdays and a cashier working on a dead night at a restaurant. Whatever it is, I do give a tip. But the amount always depends on the business and quality of service.
20% is my standard for a good waiter or waitress who's serving me at a restaurant. Any higher means they've given me great service.

10% is my standard for carryout when I tip.

Sometimes I pay just the tip. Just for a second. Just to see how it feels.
