No. And I can fight pretty good but those guys were trained from birth and life then was way rougher.

If old man strength is a real thing - I imagine there is also standing and working on your feet for 12-16 hours a day as a day laborer in ancient times strength.

So my 3-5 hours of exercise a week probably aren’t going to matter.

Now if we get into a biting contest my teeth are in pretty top notch shape for my age.

A trax
B secutor
C murmillo
D scissors


I would not be good at parrying or anything I would have to be able to take a strike and then take advantage of someone over extending

I doubt it. I took some damage in regular fights I won. Taking some damage in the arena might mean losing a limb, or being crippled in my teens or 20's. No interest from me.

Peak athletic Body? absolutely. Give me any weapon (ok not the net) plus a shield.

Nowadays I think cardio would be my biggest challenge.
