I'm 6'1", 200 lbs, and I've even done judo before. I've got a considerable reach, weight, and strength advantage. The reach and strength wouldn't help me because she'd have no problem dodging and evading me. The weight wouldn't either because she's strong enough that if she ever got a hold of me, and she would, she's strong enough to throw me and that's all that matters.

There is some serious delusions on this thread. This is what would happen: Judo flip, arm bar. You're done. 5 seconds or less.

the day a 135# woman throws me to the ground and submits me is the day i start sucking dick, and that's never going to happen.
She's a fricking woman for gods' sake. I don't understand how some of you think she's some kind of athletic freak who possesses super strength. There is no woman that has that. They were made to make babies, not fight.
Name a sport in which an awesome female is better than the average male?
The fastest time at the Louisiana state track meet this year was 10.57, which is fast enough to be an Olympic gold medalist in the women's 100m dash since only one woman has ever run faster than that, ever. Had the 5A boys this year ran in the woman's 100 meter dash in the London Olympics, they would have placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th.
I've played agaisnt Sylvia Fowles and Siemone Augustus at the rec when they were in school. Neither of them were the best player on the court at any time, and they are WNBA all stars. I only played high school basketball and i was vastly better than both of them.
world record 200#+ woman squat is 615lbs. That's April Mathis, who's the strongest woman ever.
kid this year from covington at 174# squatted 620lbs
just trying to reiterate the vast difference in strength and athleticism in boys/men and woman.
Just listed a few high school kids just from Louisiana that are better than world class woman athletes.
no i'm not a trained fighter, but i'm big and i'm athletic. I will win.

Its not all about that dude. You are probably stronger than her, granted. But she is a world class judoka. I assume you are not. Second, she fights every single day. You might be able to land a pot shot on her before she grabbed you and threw you like a ho, and it doesnt matter how big you are. Her technique is perfect. Then, she is going to arm bar you. You would make some emasculating squeal and tap or have your arm broken. Even if you managed to mount her, if you have never practiced jui jitsu, she is going to roll your arse or submit you from the bottom. There is no fricking way you could beat her up in your current state. End of story.

A lucky punch is the only option. I will not say she could not be beaten, but I will say that the untrained big men have as much or less of a chance than the trained women going in. There is weight classes to separate talented, trained fighters. I would venture to say most here haven't even wrestled before.

Professional women's tennis/basketball/soccer players struggle against decent male high school players. No reason to think MMA would be any different. I'm a big supporter of women's rights in general and women's sports in particular, but biology is biology. A guy in decent shape who has any idea what he,s doing should win a fair fight. Now, if she can sucker punch him or kick him in the nuts, that,s different.

Lol, so you would just let a woman, or anyone for that matter flip you? Why would you do that? Some of us have extensive wrestling/boxing backgrounds. Some of us understand leverage, balance, footwork, etc.

If you do, than you absolutely stand a better chance than someone with no previous experience. That is who I am referring to.

Serena or Sharapova/Candace Parker or Britney Griner/ Mia Hamm or Abby Womback would skull drag decent male high school players in their sports.

This isn't a brag thread. I qualified the fighter as an untrained male for a reason. I box, although I am by no means great, so I would make myself ineligble as well. Untrained means no formal training in any fighting sport.

Show me one time it has happened. I am a big supporter of women in sports and would love for it to be the case.AFAIK it never has. Chris Evert,s brother was an average tennis player. They would practice together and she never could beat him.

I'll give you Serena and Sharapova. Tennis and Golf, two non physical sports, are the closest women come to competing with men. Not the basketball players or soccer players, not even close. I would bet any money my high school basketball team could have beaten the WNBA all star team. They are so terrible on defense they give themselves no shot. They would most likely foul out before halftime, and if you've ever played against women in basketball, you would know what i'm talking about.

But their fundamentals though.....

Thanks Captain obvious. It still matters quite a bit, though
This! I'm 6'0" and fluctuate from 248-255lbs. I'm amateurly trained in wrestling(WWE style), have minimal(very minimal) training in military hand to hand, and have rolled/sparred several times with a buddy who trains MMA who is 150-160lbs. He has submitted me once.
