i think some of you have know clue what it's like to be a lot stronger than other people.
I think some of you have no clue how much technique matters, how easy it is to avoid getting hit by an untrained person and just how fast untrained people gas out. I bet you wouldn't land a single shot on her and be huffing and puffing like there wasn't enough oxygen on the planet to help you out.
True story; When I first got into mma, I got submitted constantly by a 95lb, 14 year old boy. I had wrestled 3 years in high school, been boxing for about two years and had an 80 lb weight advantage. I was a a lot stronger than that kid and he choked the living shite out of me for a half a year straight.
mma, especially the grappling side of it, will humble you in a hurry.

You probably think a WNBA team could beat some mens college teams.
Not a good comparison at all. Male amateur fighters would have a great shot at beating her. Not OTers.

Oh no. A lifetime of training is negated by some randoms with no experience, because they are heavier. It seems like many don't know what judo is for, let alone her level of it. She can probably toss someone who is 250 with the same ease, it's all leverage. And she stated she has worked on her boxing six days a week. I am sure many have not done six days at some pissy local gym.
It's funny how tough all the big guys think they really are, just because they are big. You have to know what to do with it.
I spent time in the MMA gyms in SD, and met a lot of the pros, there is no way I was sparring with even the top level guys at 125. I was getting beat up by the lower level trainers who I outweighted by sometimes 50 pounds. These weren't famous people, and they were not even the UFC fighters punching bags. And y'all want to act like a simple haymaker or a simple shot on Rousey is all it will take

Yep. These incredibly trained fighters have a tough time landing clean punches on other professionals, yet some people here, who've probably never even sparred w/ a low level amateur, think they'll be able to land a clean shot on a professional.
Hell, I probably thought the same way a decade ago, but it's a different world when you're actually trying to do it.
ETA: I agree w/ everyone here...Gina Carano is a smokeshow.

I'm not reading this shite, but I can gather enough just from the amount of replies that there are idiots on the OT that think they would stand a chance with Ronda. She could literally probably break all 4 limbs of most OTers without breaking a sweat.
But damn there are some lovable idiots on this board.

I'd crescent elbow her in the forehead. If that fails, take it to the ground and see how many times I could get her to touch it before I tapped.

And some of you confuse the strength and power of a 135# woman to a 135# man. At some point, she is going to have to close with her target. A 220# athletic male can almost literally lift her with one arm. At some point, sheer strength and explosiveness overcomes technique and skill.
All you guys convinced she would easily overwhelm a non-professional male rely on, "Yeah, but, she would be so much faster than anything he's ever seen!" Works both ways. She has not tangled with anything as powerful and explosive as a 220+ male. Those angles and leverage she can obtain against a female fighter simply aren't going to be there against someone who is almost a different species.

Gracie beat the shite out of big skilled fighters. It's not about strength.

She trains with professional male fighters on a daily basis. You're not going to surprise her.

And the fact that she's not dead means they don't fight back and just let her hit them.

I doubt the bigger fighters go all out.

Yeah she would kick a lot of arse and trains with a lot of men. Won the bronze medal in 2004 and I think her mom was a world champion in judo as well. Awesome fighter but I'm not too fond of her attitude and how she presents herself sometimes
