North Korea was giving threats, now possibly Russia. Will someone eventually attack our country?
We need to stop fixing every countries priblems. It's good in our eyes, but we look like enemies in everyone else's eyes

No one is going to make a direct military strike on the mainland. Terrorism, maybe.
Regardless of our “fixing”, no one wants to frick with the US.
And BTW, when America isn’t fixing the worlds problems, groups like Isis form and start doing heinous shite to defenseless people. Just like Syria using chemical weapons or some third world leader acquiring a nuke and becoming a real threat, AMERICA has to stay involved to protect its own safety ( and the safety of others).
I’m not fond of it, but that’s the role you assume as a super power.

I agree it’s in the best interest of the US to help smaller countries that cannot themselves but to be so dismissive at the mere prospect of a US mainland attack is not smart. An intelligent enemy exploits your weaknesses and ignorance to defeat you.

Allow me to clarify my post:
I do not believe the mainland will suffer a conventional attack by a foreign enemy. Terrorism, a nuclear strike, or missle attack...possible but highly unlikely. And even then, our response ( or at least the threat of our response- if we don’t have a pussy for a CIC) would be so horrible for whoever attacked us, it’s pretty unlikely to happen.
However, an invasion like the one we are witnessing on our southern border with illegal immigration could be a very slow methodical attack on the US.
And make no mistake, it’s a fricking invasion. Go spend a month down in LAREDO and you’ll understand my point.
