The FMCSA has reported that drivers Hours of Service regulations will be suspended to help them be able to drive more and get product to stores. It’s very complicated if it’s not the industry that you work in, but it’s one way to provide relief and get stores stocked more quickly.

Talked to a manager at Wally world today and he said it will be much worse that a hurricane. First off not enough employees to restock. Second, normally with a hurricane they can get product from other states. Not this time. The DS in Robert has roughly a 2 week supply. The supply is iffy on what the products are. Could be out of some things for a while. Take that for what it is

It will take a little more time for each company’s distribution centers to catch up. They were only prepared to send out normal levels of freight to stores. There is no real shortage of anything the stores are out of.

Nope. After this weekend, everyone will starve to death once they run out of what they bought. If they don't die from an acute lack of toilet paper first.

My neighbor and his wife both drive trucks for a living. He said he was working 14-16 hour days and his wife had been on the road all day and wouldn’t be back until around 4am.
He specifically delivers groceries and said it is crazy busy but things are just busy. There is plenty of supply. He even had a day off today after working 2-3 weeks straight.

I can't speak for all industries but there will be bread coming in the morning. That said, it will probably go fast and I know where I work it is on emergency schedule which means only plain white bread, plain wheat bread, hamburger and hot dogs buns. No special items for a while (honey wheat, organic, etc).
