People are going to only buy so much. The assholes who have bought all the tp and milk and bread they’ll put in the freezer like stupid count have already got what they want. More will become available.

Went to Winn Dixie today. They had everything except bread and toilet paper.

The two stores I went in today has zero bread left but we’re completely stocked with deli meats. That one kind of confused me

How stupid are you? Trump never said the virus was a hoax, he said the media blaming him was and he’s right.

These people must have 2 deep freezers to freeze all that bread.

My wife deals with purchasing from farmers and sending off to the retailers. They’ve turned their whole warehouse over twice this weekend trying to keep up. No reason for the supply chain to fail, but the multiple bottlenecks this panic is causing is going to drive prices up. Sending half-full trucks sunday afternoon so you can stock something isn’t going to be as cheap as waiting until Monday to send an optimized fully loaded truck.

Walmart in Central had no bread or deli meat
Very little cheese
No bagged cereal
Not much milk
Less than 10 packages of paper plates
Why do people need so many paper plates & bowls right now?

You don't need ham for milk sandwiches.

Stores are rolling in the dough because of alarmist folks like yourself.

The big boys will continue to restock. They already put immense pressure on their suppliers even when there's not hysteria.
Some of the smaller guys may not be able to do it. I heard Associated Grocers were doing a bunch of weird shite where they were telling the loaders and warehouse workers they couldn't interact with office workers.. (or go inside?) Those people are going to get a lot of turnover in the next month and the distributers of Walmart, Amazons, and Targets of the world will hire them.
