You're really sensitive about this stuff

You use the word sensitive a lot when you cant find a response.
Arent you a college kid supported by parents?
Posted on 2/24/18 at 6:38 pm to RogerTheShrubber
Nope.
I mean, I'm not sure response you are looking for.

Its usually easy to pick them out here. Insecurity is obvious

Well you're almost always wrong, so maybe you should reevaluate

I've been thinking about doing that that 10 years now

Aren't you a glorified bank teller?

Is that supposed to be an insult?

Well congrats! You're somewhere between a hair dresser and a plant operator!

That's not entirely accurate. A liberal arts degree represents the ability to learn a diverse set of subjects. A company with fewer than 500 employees is going to find that attractive. It means they have multiple options for placing the candidate, and if the need arises to move an employee to a new position, the employee will be able to handle the change.
I don't know many jobs that would rather hire someone with a degree in Philosophy over someone who knows how to specifically do that job...

Chris, the people who run this country have liberal arts degrees.

Baker Hughes isn't hiring no English major!

What do you do? Medical field?
Ultimately nursing was something that completely went away from everything else I’ve done and didn’t make any sense. I’ve lead teams in the military, worked in sales, managed sales teams, and handled all managerial aspects of a small office.
Then, I was dumping all that aside and doing nursing, which completely went away from my skillset/s rather than just getting the MBA.

Pardon my bluntness but someone with a liberal arts degree can’t do what an Engineer / Doctor / Stem can!
This is nonsense. A buddy is the director of Quantitative Research at a huge Bay Area investment management firm. His degree is in French. Goldman, Morgan Stanley, Bain, McKinsey, etc. are full of liberal arts graduates.

I'm a CFO. I've worked in a few industries
I wouldn't get much benefit from it professionally but it's just something I thought about doing
