Absolutely. I don't get the stigma.

I don’t think the reason they went out of style is stigma. They’re just not necessary or practical. Wear some normal length flat front shorts and call it a day.

In thibodaux for lunch

Oh for frick’s sake. Everyone makes judgments about others based on their appearance. Even you. Dress like a slob if you want to. I don’t give a shite. But I will assume that you’re a slob in more areas of your life than just the way that you dress.
Wearing cargo shorts makes you look like a slob?

The furthest my judgment of others' appearance goes is "you bothered to get dressed. nice."

The question is why does it matter if you're right?

If you've ever spent a day out and about with children, I don't think that a more practical piece of clothing has ever been invented.

Growing up, I always wanted to be a frat star. Years of college, I can’t bring myself to go out in public unless I’m looking FAF. Cargo shorts are NF.

Yes, yes they do.

Does it matter if I’m right? Isn’t that a question you should be asking yourself?

I have two kids. Cargo shorts are not necessary or practical. In addition to being hot, uncomfortable and sloppy looking. But you do you.

I only feel shame wearing them on the golf course, which has happened a few times in the past.

My motto is if I can’t wear them wherever I’m going, I shouldn’t be wearing shorts in the first place
