When was the last time you developed photos? Or do you just put them on Facebook or cloud etc?

My wife does very occasionally mainly for pictures on display in our house.

I can’t tell any difference than printing them off our printer but hey it gives her something to do

I assume you mean printed digital photos? I do occasionally for framed photos.

I don't know if anyone is "developing" from film anymore.

This past fall. I have a good bit built up again but I'm planning to shoot a lot in the next couple of weeks. Will send everything to get developed after that.

Nvm, I see you are talking about prints. Sometimes I will get small proof prints. Would love to get a small printer for the house.

You should have kept a backup for such emergencies.

About two months ago, I finally took about 14 film rolls and seven disposable camera's to get developed. Was not easy to find a place, relative to years past, and it took 10 days for them to come in. That said, the film was sitting in my office for around 10yrs so I was not in any hurry.

Some Walgreens will develop your film and make prints. They will make a print of a photo you email to them.

I tried to back up the internet, but I ran out of thumb drives.

Yes. Took some this weekend that I plan on getting printed. But they are digital so I’m not getting them “developed.”

I stopped developing and processing my own film in the late 80s.

My house was originally designed with a dark room. The original owner in the early 80’s developed their own pictures.

We use it as a utility room/closet. School projects, repair shop, etc.

Nope, I take pics on my phone, move them to a hard drive, and never look at them again. Like a normal person.

Last time I developed my own film was in the early 2000’s at Nicholls when I ran some black and white film through some chemicals and then scanned the negatives to digital after they were done. I never did color as the chemicals can be pretty dangerous if not done properly. By that time, when I was in school, it was too easy to get color film processed with the 1 hour photo places.

One time back then, I needed a roll of color film just to be developed into negatives, so I can scan them using a film scanner for a project. The lady a Walmart didn’t know what to charge for this and just gave me the negatives for free.

Pics of old school development? If not can we see a print version you can put on a car at school?
