I feel sorry for people like you. You're fricked the rest of your life

Stick to your guns and you will be the boss of them...not that they will make you any money...still, being told what to do BY them would be distressing.

Not really. Sure this whole SJW culture they have created is annoying, but I bash my generation and the people much older than me a lot more because that is who I interact with.

Scruffy enjoys bashing his own generation more.

Thats because every generation gets softer

Too late.
What's older, anyway?
I'm in my mid-30's...I think Gen X or whatever and Generation Snowflake are incredibly lame and sub par.

Yes, and here is why. They have not been allowed to grow up. Their parents, schools and government have put off their maturing and understanding the world until they are much older than previous generations.
So quit judging those 12 year olds and be nicer to them.

I feel like I'm pretty up to date on pop culture but the VMA's were deplorable. I just didn't get it. I guess I'm getting too old.

I'm not anything to them...I just judge them internally as I see them. And I judge their parents far me, believe me.
Hey, what would being nice to them solve in light of your fist paragraph, anyway?

I don't get it either but it doesn't mean you have to bash them. What ever happened to simply not giving a frick?

[quote]Do you see yourself bashing the younger generation as you get older?[/q uote]No, but bashing certain individuals of any generation

Millennials are vapid, obnoxious, and addicted to their phones.....but the reason they are the way they are is due to the generation that raised them and the generation that raised that generation.
I merely look to add and subtract from past generations, I take the good, I leave out the bad, and this is of course for not only myself but for my future fiancé/wife and for our future children. For example political correctness, I feel that it is horrible to not be able to say what you think and feel as an individual for fear of hurting other peoples' feelings....I would rather my children learn to think for themselves and speak for themselves rather than parrot out a bunch of cultural Marxist horseshite.

Every generation's behavior is in great part related to the generation(s) behind it.
People do not raise themselves. Post better.

Millennials are just a whole different animal than what we've seen socially throughout history. They're the first generation to be completely reared in a technologically advanced world. They have access to things that, when I was growing up, seemed like it could only be available in the Jetson's. The huge sense of entitlement that you see from them is largely due to the fact that they have never had to wait for anything. Want to see a movie? Just download it. Want some new music? Just download it. Need money? Just have your parents transfer some from their phone. Want to talk to someone? Just send a text. They don't have to wait for their mom or sister to get off the phone to see if Sally is going to the mall this weekend. Technology does have some social downfalls.

I was going to ask him how prior generations made them addicted to their phones but someone had to be shooed from my yard....little shits.

Absolutely! I'm 39 and I've already developed an old geezer mentality when it comes to whipper-snappers and their phone devices, wireless earbuds and tinder sex romps.
Also, their music is just noise without a purpose. In my day, we had bands like Iron Maiden warning us of the Number of the Beast and how many minutes it was until midnight.
