Do you see yourself bashing the younger generation as you get older?

Every generation, there's always people who rag on the "new, younger" generation (in some cases it's due to jealousy and lack of self-fulfillment/underachievement).

The type who will rag on how your generation is so much better and the new generation lacks "respect, values,...", "the world is going to shite, blah, blah....". Or the type who hangs on to a particular way of life and tries to force it on everyone else like some older people. We all know of people who are like this.

Do you see yourself becoming this person?

They use the phrase "on fleek."

I'll let you answer your own question.

Now get off my fricking lawn.

No. Why would I?

I don't understand this. They are just people. Of course they will do things differently. I do things differently at my age than my parents did when I was a kid. I am nothing like they were. The times are different.

Live and let live. We all need to learn from each other anyway.

I'm 24 and this generation is absolutely the worst. Self entitled liberal pussys everywhere.

People bash any generation that's not their own typically (except when they speak of their grandparents). Young dudes bash old and old bash young. I do neither since I'm perfect.

What's that supposed to mean?

But, to the original question, it's not very hard to shite on this newest 18-25 generation. Excluding most of the people that post here, they're probably the most annoying, whiny group that has come along in a while.

Not really. Seems so pointless to me.

Probably helps that I have a lot of younger siblings, though.

I remember when I was a kid and thought the older generations didn't know shite.

Then I grew up and realized they were right and all that time I had been just a stupid kid who was too dumb to realize how ignorant I really was.

Now I'm old enough to see the process starting over again as its done time and again.

Maybe if you're lucky enough to grow at least into your 40's you'll see and realize all this too... Maybe.

By all means. It is a time-honored tradition that I intend to carry on. I think they expect it and will be hurt and confused if it doesn't happen.

I bash my own shitty generation, and my parents'. I'll be damned if I'm not going to add these useless young bucks to the list

I am 19 and loath many people my own age. Fricken leftist Bernie supporters are the majority of people my age and it makes me sick.

I'm currently too out of touch with the younger generation to care or notice. I don't think that I would become this person because the thought process is irrational and one of my biggest pet peeves,
