Y’all need to read on Tony Timpa. Completely Dallas PD coverup

He died the same way as Floyd, worse even

quote:

Tony Timpa wailed and pleaded for help more than 30 times as Dallas police officers pinned his shoulders, knees and neck to the ground.

“You’re gonna kill me! You’re gonna kill me! You’re gonna kill me!”

After Timpa fell unconscious, the officers who had him in handcuffs assumed he was asleep and didn’t confirm that he was breathing or feel for a pulse.

As precious minutes passed, the officers laughed and joked about waking Timpa up for school and making him waffles for breakfast.

The answer of "it happens to white people too but you don't see us protesting" is the same as complacency. This isn't a black vs white thing. It's a "cops vs the people they've sworn to protect" thing. Everyone should be mad.

Obviously what the cop did is wrong, there was no reason to have his knee on his neck like that. Could have easily had it on his back if he was worried about the guy resisting.

But this entire situation is wrapped up in racial tension that extends past just police brutality

Oh I know.

I’m simply saying the riots and protests I see are full of bullshite with agendas that are about anything but “justice”

I don't think you and I are saying things that are too different, just maybe from different angles. The selectivity of these mass protests/riots suggest the issue is black vs white when in reality, it shouldn't be.

I'm far from a conspiracy theorist, but it seems obvious that it's by design.

Yeah I remember that. DA dropped the charges. The video was hard to watch too, and I think on Reddit, people were jumping through hoops to explain away the jokes the officers were cracking.

I didn’t miss your point at all. Now answer the question asked.

You missed it entirely, peej. You wouldn't have had to ask the question if you didn't.

I'm saying there should be equal outrage to your hypothetical because the issue is cop vs citizen, but all we hear about in reality is white vs black.

I just answered it above.

I’m not proud of anything going on right now. This crap is stupid and you can’t see the forest through the trees.... this is ALL about black vs. white in black peoples minds and the media is just egging them on. There is ZERO reason for people to destroy other peoples things just because something did not go their way. FACT......

We aren’t even at nine days here

Herein lies my main problem with police and how they are held accountable. There is no reason it should take 9 months to arrest someone if you know they did it. Regular people will never get the benefit of the doubt that cops seem to get when they frick up.

Was this around the same time as that dude who got shot by cops in his car with his GF? There was for sure some civil unrest around that whole thing

The Charlotte officer who shot and killed Keith Scott was black. There were riots.

Three of the Baltimore officers involved in Freddie Gray's death, including the driver of the van in which he died, were black. There were riots.

The answer isn't to stop this current protest, it's to protest every single instance of cops killing people unjustly no matter what color of people are involved.

When you say "protest", are you condoning rioting, looting, and arson?

Because I think that's what most people are questioning. I don't think anyone on here has any problem with legal protesting.

No but don’t give us any context or anything while you’re making threads about it

That's kind of the point isn't it

You need context/backstory because you can't remember this non-story about a bigoted black Minneapolis cop murdering a white lady

Armed robbery, drugs, assaults, etc.

Not as long as St Alton but he was definitely a career shithead.

Not saying it's "OK" but, it's no coincidence these guys are almost always felons.
