and black people commit more crime, especially violent crime, even after accounting for poverty. The disparity in crime rates is too large to just be due to unequal policing.

What are “they“ trying to change? This case is being investigated, just like it would be if it was a white person that was killed. I truly don’t see what the angle is for the protests.

I’m upset about this as well but I’m not going overboard by looting and burning shite down. I will bet that 95% of the people looting and causing all these problems never met the victim or even heard of him. There is no reason for people(black or white) to do shite like this. IMO it just gives people to get free stuff. Really sad if you ask me. I have zero problem with a peaceful protest, but what’s going on up there is just stupid. And the media is not helping. I’ve watched CNN and the only heist they have are black peoples screaming for justice but yet when it’s the other way around those guests have nothing to say.
