This sounds like a departmental problem, not just an officer problem. How do you remove qualified immunity and preferential treatment of those with badges?
For reference it took almost a year for the officer to be arrested in the Justine shooting.

I've been jumped by a group of blacks and held at gunpoint by another group of them before. Could've easily killed me either time if they felt like it. I'm not going to shed any tears over this.

Very possible. To them it feels like “Hey no laws now”. We can take over this place just because...... that’s the mentality that needs to go away from ALL African Americans.... You people are not deprived. YOU chose to live the live to live......................

He was a cop answering a call about a possible break in and sexual assault. When he pulled up to the scene, he thought he was about to be ambushed so he fired his gun, shooting the woman, she died. He was convicted and sentenced to 12 years. I’m leaving out some details, but that’s the gist of it.

No riots, nobody cared
Maybe people should riot or care.
The answer isn't to stop this current protest, it's to protest every single instance of cops killing people unjustly no matter what color of people are involved.
The answer of "it happens to white people too but you don't see us protesting" is the same as complacency. This isn't a black vs white thing. It's a "cops vs the people they've sworn to protect" thing. Everyone should be mad.

Before I gave police the benefit of the doubt most of the time. This time, I just don’t see how anyone can justify what happened. For the record, I don’t agree with the rioting. Burning down buildings and looting before you even know whether or not they’re going to charge him just hurts your cause.

First one happened after a football game in high school, second happened at a friend's house who lived near a black neighborhood. But yeah you're right, nothing ever happens.
