I've got two trash cans side by side in my kitchen, one blue and one white.
Throw what you want in whichever can you want, but when I go to the dump, they both go in the trash hopper.

I always seem to always have heavy metal parts or cooper to sell, so I go ahead and also recycle the cans and get a few extra bucks...

AI says that landfill mining is coming soon.

As in, a digger will recycle every ton go the dirt.

Toss them bitches. They really don't recycle them. They're stored in warehouses or "junk" yards in perpetuity. Recycling is a scam.

I have an old 55 gallon drum I keep in the basement, aluminum cans go there, when that fills up bring it to southern recycling in midcity. It’s convenient and I have keep the discarded cans. If it was inconvenient or I didn’t have space then I would not do it. I brought a load before Mardi Gras and walked out with 20 or so bucks.

Don’t have any cans to recycle. I don’t drink beer nor canned sodas, etc.

A neighbor collects them in the neighborhood and fills plastic barrels. After filled he runs em to a metal yard for coins.

Aluminum and other metals are basically the only “recyclable” that actually recycles so yeah I recycle them.

I recycle aluminum cans.Takes me a year or so to get a couple of sacks.
I don’t make a special trip to sell them.
I wait until I’m going by the recycling place for some other reason.
I hate to see aluminum go in a landfill.

recycling bin in garage that I take out once a week. saves room in the trash can

Same, except mine is the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. I asked for a 2nd recycle bin. I get these at no cost. Doing this saves me from having a 2nd trash cart. I don't care what the recycle guys do with as long as it doesn't cost me extra.

I recycle them myself and get a little back.

Growing up, helping my dad gather cans at the ballfields and along the road, helped put food on the table and thats stuck with me.

frick no. I don’t do that libtard shite

Glass and aluminum are essentially infinitely recyclable. If it's not available in someone's area, that's one thing. But refusing to recycle aluminum and glass if there's little to no barrier to entry is Idiocracy levels of fricking retarded.

I saved cans for a long time. Filled up huge bags that took up the whole bed of my F150 and took to the scrap place near my house. Went home with an extra $20 in my pocket. They've all gone in the trash since then.

We had recycling at our old house, but at our new place they want to charge $10 a month to recycle, so we just throw them away

Believe it is $15 a month for curbside recycling in Jefferson parish
