Do you own a golf cart, and where did you get it?

How much did you pay?
What features/amenities?
I realize your staff needs them to carry out their duties around the manor but your input is appreciated.
PS - cartkings in Thibodaux has 4-seater lifted good looking wheels etc for around 4k. I thought they were more than that generally speaking. Maybe that's an internet price and doesn't include a bunch of things like the batteries, etc. Anyone dealt with this place?

We bought a lifted one for my preteen boys to drive around the neighborhood at night. One of my best purchases ever. It keeps them out of the house.

Thanks for your kind reply nonetheless.

Let me know if you can find one with skinny cup holders for my michelob ultra

Go vintage or have a 1200cc ninja engine swapped for stock plant. The last thing the world needs is another suburban cracker a-hole in a stock golf cart clogging up half the road. Make it truck nutz worthy is all I’m saying.
Didnt the girlfriend of the former LSU qb matt Flynn have a bad accident in a golf cart? Still in a coma or something?

This is what happens when you start buying golf carts.

I was just trying to keep up appearances. I don't really have one. Sorry for wasting your time.

I repoed one from a guy I loaned money to. Lifted, nice tires/rims, diamond plate flooring and bluetooth radio.

Golf Cars of Louisiana
Would NOT recommend
They seem to be a family business where multiple generations married their cousins.

My sales manager was telling me about it. Lives in Franklin, Tn and it happened in his hood. She was holding a dog and the cart stopped suddenly and she fell out. Tried to protect the dog and smacked her head on the pavement really hard. I think it’s amazing shite like that doesn’t happen more often. They are almost as common as cars where I live and usually there are 2 or 3 rug rats sitting in them with no belts or restraint.

Baw just go pay $5 to play Copper Mill, have your baw park out on one of the neighborhood streets that run through the course, once you're out of view from the clubhouse, stick that bitch on a trailer and ride off with a free golf cart.
If you get arrested for this, it's not my fault. I'm not a lawyer and I'm not a poor who steals shite.

$3250.
Place in town that buys 20 or so from a course and fixes them up. I didn't want lifted, but I did want it road ready.

I found an older 36V EXGO TXT PDS for sale for $1,200.00. It needed batteries and some love. I ended up re doing the whole thing. The good thing about EZGO TXT is you can work on them pretty easily, and most everything is cheap to replace other than the battery pack and controller.
Since I replaced the batteries I added a seventh battery to up the cart to a 42V, and I replaced the stock controller with a Alltrax controller. I ended up replacing all the bushings, recovered the seat, wrapped the plastic, upgraded the lights to LEDs, and put new wheels and tires on it.
For a little over $3K I have a perfect neighborhood cruiser that looks brand new and does right at 30MPH. If you do buy used just assume you have to replace the batteries. That is usually the case.

I do own one. The place is now closed and I can't currently remember the name of the place I bought it.
I do remember it was off of airline though.
Paid 5k for it. Came with big, all terrain wheels, windshields, covers, extra seats, 2 extra tires.
