I'll share a legit protip on Vienna Sausage lovers:

Gerber Graduates Turkey Sticks
They cost twice as much as Vienna Sausage but made with far less msg and crap and way less salt.
Try em and then you can thank me.

A fellow in grad school (initials BM) loved the 'juice with fat' that came out of the can. He'd happily drain everyone's cans into his empty, so we wouldn't waste any of the good part (his pronouncement). Wonder if he's still alive?

So this guy literally had sausage parties in college.

No. Would rather have sardines packed in hot sauce or mustard.

Haven't eaten them in probably 50+ years, and even longer for potted meat, but did eat them up till my late teens.

Another canned meat I really didn't ever like is Spam. I may have eaten it a couple times as a young kid, but never since then.

Only time I have ever had them was when on satellite rigs...I recall them being ok on crackers ..
Never bought them on land with my own money ...so guess not that good....

Vienna sausages were completely inedible, something had to be done... That's why Frank's red hot sauce was invented, and the world rejoiced.

When I was merely a boy I was treated to many a vienna sausage sandwich.....fresh, soft white bread, viennas sliced lengthwise, copious amounts of miyo-nnaise. Still partake from time to time.
