Yes, my family and lifelong friends all live here and that's more important to me than anything else. They make this the best state to live in for me.

Now if they all could move with me.......of the states I've been to probably Montana, but only in the summer :)

Favorite state is NC, live in GA. The logistics job market in NC isn't strong enough to justify a move there.

Yes, Texas! Love the southern weather (hate winters), but would never live in shitholes like LA, MS, AL, or AR that caters to a demographic I have no desire to be around

Texas is a place where you go to work and then go home. Combine that with the high property taxes which is absolutely pointless to pay if your kids are grown up and aren’t in school anymore.

No. I live in Texas, but would love to live in a western state excluding Nevada. Texas beats living anywhere else in the southeast though.

Absolutely. It's utopia here in Bogalusa. I get off from the paper mill at 5 and will explain more then.

Grew up in Louisiana, no complaints

Live in Mississippi now for over 20 years, like it better than Louisiana

If I had a chance to move anywhere it would be to Florida or wherever my daughter ends up

Not like California. Beach, mountains, desert, it's all there.

I guess. I have lived in LA, Central Coast CA, Utah and now Iowa. Been pretty much everywhere. One place is just as good as another here in the states. My next place is Croatia and retirement.

I don't know how to measure favorites when it comes to states. Texas has no income tax, has made me successful through opportunity, and is great for raising a family. Those are nice. What variables would be considered in "favorite?"

LA is always home and has a lot for me still. I love it. Not sure if it's my favorite. I've been to about 45 states. They all feel the same when I'm working in them.

The more I travel, the more I appreciate Alabama. I do love Utah, but the people in the south are truly different.

Tennessee has a lot of great attributes, the lack of an ocean means it will never be my #1.
