Do you live in a nicer house and/or neighborhood than your boss?

If so, do they realize it? Do you tell them about it? Do you think it could be a source of jealousy and animosity?
It shouldn't make a bit of difference in the work world, but you never know how some people react to things.

Good chance he’s less house poor and far more financially secure.

My boss is a Jewish carpenter. We live in the house of the Lord.

Not even close. And I’m ok with that.

For now.

Yes. Technically, it's a halfway house, but it's much bigger than my boss' house.

House: Yes
Neighborhood: No

Live in a neighborhood in the process of gentrification (I almost certainly live across the street from a big time drug dealer) while he lives in an extremely nice neighborhood with a smaller and much older house.

No address, but I know that roughly every day 15 cars go there and leave within 5 minutes, so either they’re extremely popular in small doses or they’re running a drug ring out of there.

I'd say my neighborhood is on par with where my boss lives, he's literally 10 minutes from me. I haven't been to his house and he hasn't been to mine. So I can't say who's is nicer.
That said, it really shouldn't matter. He doesn't know my background or my financials outside of what he pays me. He has no idea that my wife brings home more than I do which is a significant difference to his stay at home wife. For all he knows, my wife could be the daughter of a Texas oil tycoon.

Oh yeah, definitely a drug dealer. Or when they pull up, person comes out and leans into the car window for 5 minutes seemingly shooting the shite and car drives off. Rinse...repeat.

This is what I don’t get when things like this get brought up. I haven’t seen the house thing brought up, but I’ve seen comments/questions about vehicles, watches, etc... IMO it shouldn’t matter because these people only really know half of the equation.

To answer the OP, I live in a similar home/neighborhood to my boss (in different states though).
