A friend and neighbor in 1983, but he was confused and put a bullet in every chamber.

Yep and he died when he was around 17. This was back in the late 60's.

I walked into one of my best friends house in high school to him playing Russian roulette with his dad's revolver.
He is a genius now working in the medical field after spending 15 years in the US Navy.

Didn't Chicago's guitarist die playing it?

No, he was just an idiot.
His last words were, “What do you think I’m going to do? Blow my brains out?”
He then blew his brains out.
True story.

I don’t know who the OT personally knows more of, Navy SEALs, people who died playing Russian Roulette, or guys who made unassisted triple plays.

A guy who used to date my aunt did. He shot himself, but survived with severe brain damage. In maybe September, shortly after gyms opened up again, he came into my gym, I was relaxing in the lobby area after working out, and he rolled up really close to me, and I had to keep telling him to stay back, keep some distance. He asked why, and I said because of Covid, and he didn’t have a clue what I was talking about

I once harassed someone for so long during a monopoly game that he pulled a revolver on me.

I judged the chances that he'd shoot me vs looking like a complete legend if I continued making fun of him and swung for the fences.

Closest I got.
