I don't know if they are addicted to negativity but I do know several people who are extremely negative. I tend to not hang around them for very long.

One of my oldest friends can’t realize how his negativity impacts his life and sabotages potential success.. In his mind, he is stuck in the a loop of under qualified less intelligent people passing him by in the business world.. I wish he’d realize he would be much happier and more successful if he wasn’t so negative.

I know several social justice warriors and they are constantly pissed and negative. They were this way long before Trump.

Have you seen the documentary on this? It’s called The Brainwashing of My Dad and is about older men who used to be fairly generous and kind, but along the line became angry and hateful people who watch Fox News all day

My MIL will talk gloom and doom and hate this and hate that much more often than indicating she likes something.
