I went to 10 & 30.

Had a blast both times. 40 is in two years, looking forward to it.

There are a bunch of miserable, anti-social people in this thread.

My wife and I graduated in 1994. We have never been to a reunion and will never go. I hated school and have no desire to see those frickers again ever.

I wasn't even invited to my last one. I apparently wasn't very popular.

Probably won't get invited to the 20th either.

My father always said to not go to the first three high school reunions. He said everyone is trying to figure out if their life is better than yours. By the time you reach the 4th one they are divorced or kids are divorced and living back home with them. Life has kicked them in the teeth a few times and they are genuinely happy to see someone they grew up with is still around.

Went to my 10th and 20th, was out of town for my 30th. It’s 35 this year, if they have one I’ll probably pass, only half a dozen people or less I give a damn about seeing….

Hells yes.

20 was so dang fun. A chance for folks to get out the house and be irresponsible is usually a good time

It is fun to go to your HS reunion and laugh at that one guy who got fat & bald and screwed up his life. That's why I'm going...I can't deprive my classmates of that opportunity.

I hope your father is in good physical and mental health, and still able to enjoy life. Kibitzing here is one my mental activities, along with duplicate bridge, Ancestry.com, and a lot of friends and neighbors.

Regards, and best wishes.

Yeah, both parents are still up and around, though they visit the garage for maintenance a little more often these days. He still obsessively keeps up with sports and politics, and they're probably on their phones and computers as much as I am if not more. I told them I'd keep their dog if they want to go ahead and make the reunion trip back to the old home parish.

Cheers.

My reunion is this year. I'm going, but mainly because I still live in the area. Why not go if I'm only 20 minutes away is the way I see it.

Now if I lived across the country or something, and in order to go I had to worry about booking flights, hotel for multiple nights, having to take days off work, etc. There would be a near zero chance that I would attend.

You don't have a clue of what some people may have gone through. High School was a fairly decent experience for me but I saw people brushed aside or mistreated for no good reason. Their is nothing more disgusting than a self- absorbed teenager. I know I was one, maybe not as bad as most but selfish enough. Nothing more worthwhile than being decent to someone who can't do a G.damn thing for you.

My 20th was last month (DSHS 2002). I didn't go to it or my 10th. frick those people. They were shitty people 20 years ago, I don't care to fund out whether or not they are shitty people today.

We graduated same class and everything. Missed both 10th & 20th. Yes most of them are still shitty people 20 years later. Glad I'm not the only one that remembers it being known for such classless people.

I went to 20. My wife wanted to meet the people I went to school with. She wasn't impressed.
