I've honestly never been to one. My dad's side is poor af and my mom's side has too many divorces. And the majority of either side is full of apathetic shits.

they are doing it in the morning for once..I could care less...havent been in 2 years and all the cool aunts and uncles are dead so I dont give a f*ck about all my cousins children and life stories of bragging about "oh things are soo great and wonderful". I noticed every one I have been to everyone always exaggerates and then some about how they are doing.

My family has a church in NC that has been closed to the public since the 1920s but the family has maintained it solely for family weddings and reunions. Made it to one a couple of years ago and I thought it was pretty damn cool. Reason church is closed is so many have moved away and aren't farming as they once did. Not enough people to form a congregation.

We have one every year for my dad's side of the family and it's a good time. We all go to my parent's house on the Amite and hangout one Saturday in October. Had to cancel this year's reunion because of the flood.
