I'm happy to have to wear a mask... Then people won't recognize me when I'm at the store with sweat pants and a wife beater and haven't taken a bath in 7 days or had a haircut since January.

Where I live - you cannot go in without one - the security guards are at the door to escort you out or give you a mask - I put my mask on at the door and take it off as I exit

I speak to my children about their rights, and how this is impeding upon them - however - business owners have rights too - and since grocery stores are requiring them - I do not want to be dishonest about a condition I do not have - I will wear one

First, that’s a grammatical error, not a misspelling.

Second, don’t call someone a fool while simultaneously proving yourself to be one.

Just a good rule of thumb.

I walked into a bank last week to make a deposit at the machine and purposely did not wear a mask. Before I could get to the machine, I heard the teller behind the glass say "Sir, we need you to put a mask on." I never looked at her but pulled one out of my pocket. I did not get within 6 feet of anyone, but this kneejerk reaction to enforce the mask policy is out of hand. I don't see an end to this anytime soon.

Do you wear pants when you go into a restaurant? Most require pants and you aren't they can ask you to leave. It is pretty easy to not bank with that bank again of it makes you upset.

I was born with 5 congenital heart defects and Im looking an another open heart surgery next year. We have a 5 year old and a 2 month old at home. So while im glad the mandate has been lifted so we don't have to hear about "muh rights" anymore (not disagreeing with it, im just sick of hearing about it), my family and I will continue to wear ours as we see fit due to the high risk aspect and wanting to protect our children.

Some of you should really just grow up and quit giving a frick what people think about you. Wearing a mask for a little longer isnt that big of a deal if it means keeping my family that much safer.

So many assholes in here who likely graduated at the bottom of their wildlife and fisheries classes, but that doesn't hold them back from being pretend medical experts on an internet board.

Maybe these mask-wearers have compromised immune systems. Maybe they live or hang out with people who do. Maybe they work in nursing homes. Maybe they work in hospitals. The list goes on and on. You don't know these people.

How does it affect you in any way?

It doesn't. You're just arrogant and ignorant douchebags who probably wear cargo shorts but draw the line at masks.

Since OP didn't answer, I will. Places in BR I have been this week without a mask:
Wal-Mart
Lowes
Home Depot
Academy Sports
Voo Doo barbeque
Mary Lee donuts
Seafood restaurant that wants to remain nameless

Places that refused service unless I put one on:
BR City offices
Ascension parish courthouse
Rouses

I live in NE Alabama and I've never worn a mask - not even on 4 doctor visits.

I laugh at you people for being so spineless and willing to roll over for tyranny.

I also weep for my country because it seems spineless idiots are all too willing to roll over for tyrant under the guise of safety.

btw... Gov Granny Panties has no authority to enforce a mask mandate in Alabama - that's why she told the sheriffs not to enforce - SHE HAS NO AUTHORITY she's relying on you weak minded fools to shackle yourselves.

maybe they should take measures to protect themselves and stop asking me to. Wear a mask with a respirator if you're that scared of this. It's not my responsibility to make them feel safe.

B/c i don't feel like fricking wearing it b/c it's uncomfortable. I have no idea how people wear this shite all day. It's miserable to me. And on top of that, i don't give a shite if i catch the flu. If i were to catch it, i'd be a considerate a-hole and stay away from people while i'm sick, like i've always done my whole life.

You know what would be helpful? If you quit driving and started taking the bus or walking everywhere. The roads would be a lot safer if we just took half the people driving right now, off the roads. So quit driving your car so i can be safer when i drive mine.

Cloth masks are worse than nothing at all according to the NIH but you don't see freedom wearers yelling at mask wearers in the aisles of the grocery store.

Umm the NIH has said that cloth masks reduce the spread of droplets that cause most Covid contractions. Idk where you got your info, but it's wrong. Several studies have shown the effectiveness of cloth masks. You're thinking of neck gaiters and bandanas.
