I notice I fall asleep closer to midnight that I will usually get a good 6.5 hours of quality sleep with no interruptions. It's when I go to bed early that I will wake up at 3 or 4 and have a problem.

2 Advil PM’s

Works great

I struggle with this, it’s a lose/lose scenario for me. Sleep meds help me sleep but drowsy the next day, without I find myself waking up at 2 in the morn and awake the rest of the night

A bowl before bed, nothing to dread.

Idk. It’s what works for me.

I don’t wake up tired and with a hangover.

I have always had trouble falling to sleep and staying asleep.

Have you always been that way? Is it the same when you take benedryl?

I’m jealous.

No, Benadryl leaves me with a hangover. It’s weird because I think that’s the active ingredient that’s in Advil Pm.

And I have to add. I take it no later than 7:30 but I usually don’t crash until about 9-9:30.

I like random wake ups, as long as, I fall back asleep quickly. Like flipping to to the cool side of the pillow, and back to comfy.

I take a 1k naicin, and 325mg aspirin to help control my colesterol. I get good sleep when I do that over when I forget too.

If I know I can sleep in, to make sure I sleep it off, I take an advil PM. But I have to be able to sleep it off though.

My probably is getting up when I need to. Im a snooze button sob, and cant get up. Even if i'm awake until the last min. I live alone, so nothing really pushing me though. Hate it.

That's just pricier benadryl.

I hardly ever have problems sleeping, but I like it when I wake thinking the alarm is about to go off and I roll over and see that it's only 1:30AM and I still have 5 hours to sleep.

Ambien works great for me. A half Ambien works great for me. I like to sleep without waking up during the night.

I usually just rub one out. I still can't sleep though but it makes me feel better.

It is not the waking up in the middle of the night that fricks me, it is the not being able to immediately go back to sleep.

I drink a crazy amount of water. Guaranteed to have to wake up and piss at least once per night.

If I am able to slide back in bed and go to sleep within minutes, I'm good to go for the next day.

If I lay in bed looking at the ceiling for hours, or checking the clock every 15 minutes for the rest of the night.... I'm one cranky frick in the early morning.

Sleep on average from 12a - 6a, so 6 hours "sleeping" is my average but it is more than likely closer to 4 or 5.

The worst part, it doesn't matter how fricking tired I am in the morning or afternoon, I'm wide the frick awake most of the night. I never get that "catch up" sleep that most people get after struggling for a few days. If I do somehow manage to pass out around 10pm, I'm certain to wake up at about 2 or 3.... and not be able to go back to sleep.

I once read a study that says every hour you average LESS than 8 per night increases your life expectancy.... I really hope that is true. I'm gonna make it to triple digits.
