Dude you have a night at home by yourself. I wouldn’t leave the house. Find some old movies that you love and set up shop in your undies!!!
I go to movies solo a lot during the week after the kids go to bed. Usually one of 4 people in the theater.

I mean you’re sitting in the dark watching a movie. If you think about it going by yourself shouldn’t be taboo
Pre Covid when my wife still worked in an office I worked 4-10. Fridays I’d go drop my daughter off at school and either go play golf or go catch a movie. It was glorious.

I don't really go to the movies, but have no problem going by myself.

I have Regal Unlimited though as does my neighbor. So I usually ask him to go with.
It's fun to have summertime to tear the movie down you bust saw or discuss it. Saw The Watchers Monday and Quiet Place Day One last night.

I had a girl start a fight with me because I went to the movies by myself. I didn’t answer her texts for over two hours and she thought I was out with another woman. I finally sent a pic of my receipt for one ticket and ended things with her

When you have young kids is really the only option. Everyone asleep in my house by about 8:00 pm. If there something I want to see, usually sleep out and catch a 9:00 pm showing on a random Thursday night.

Back when I went to theaters ?? did. I did more things than not myself. It was just my nature. That habit got me robbed in the Philippines once. I never ventured out alone in the PI after that. Yet I could explore alone for days in Hong Kong without a soul bothering me.

Most of my friends aren't big movie goers so I occasionally go to the movies by myself. I usually only go ~4 times a year and sometimes do it just to get out of the house.

All the time. Go during the day when it’s nothing but older people. It’s peaceful and no one disrupting the movie.
