Only if I’m in a very big rush, which is hardly ever....... but I’m not poor and can understand why the poors only put $5 in sometimes.

Better question is who rounds it off to an even number?
I always round it to the next $0.50

Always run a tank almost all the way out and then fill it up and then stop on the nearest even dollar amount.

Even in the cold or rain.

Stopping after dark in Houston I'll frequently just get 5 gallons or so to hold me over because I don't feel like hanging around in gas station parking lots after dark.

I rarely fill it up.

31 gallons takes too damn long.

Why do people give a shite about ending in an even number?

Do you not realize that 99% of the shite you buy with a card comes out to an odd amount?

Other than OCD, why would you care about your gas charge ending in .00?

My wife lets it get on empty before she fills up just because she hates to take the time to stop, pisses me off. When my truck gets between 1/2 and 1/4 I fill up,Never gets below 1/4.,thing is fuel pump is in gas tank these days and risk damaging it if gas gets too low.
I try to explain to her, it’s the same difference, she’s not filling up any more often. Also I hate to have to stop to get get gas if we’re going somewhere, rather fill up on way home.

All of the time. The limits are usually set at $99, and my shite costs like $130-140 to fill up. I just don't feel like doing it twice if I'm not on a long trip

I have all the company vehicles on a separate fuel card system.

The only thing I ever charge on that card is my fuel purchase.

So your statement about uneven purchases does not apply to my fuel.

If someone doesn’t care about stopping on an even dollar amount, I don’t care.

So you end up making MORE trips to put gas in. Count the time getting in and out and you probably spend more time putting gas in your vehicle by not filling it up.

Fill up every time. My dumb arse wife will let it get on E and put a 20 in when 30 will fill it up.

Sometimes when I'm running a little low and happen to only be near the higher prices stations....but even then half of the time I forget to stop the pump and end up filling up anyways...then I think ahhh frick it, I would have blown the extra couple bucks somewhere anyways.

I don't put a lot of miles on anymore so 20 bux a week is fine by me. Usually have to stop at the station anyway.

If I filled it up I'd be able to go a month and half.

When I was putting more miles on I'd usually put at least 60 or 80 in. Patience is not one of my virtues.

Did so today. Was low, way low by DFW shits $0.40 a gallon higher over there. Got $20 and went on my way.

I have a 36 gallon tank so I will not pay airport premium when I am putting on probably 35 gallons.

If low and not near a quality spot I’ll do a quick $10 touch up to get to a more legit or significantly better priced situation. The two stations closest to my house are terrible... cost more and can tell my car runs worse after filling up there. But if I’m legit on E I’ll toss a couple gallons in quickly to be safe
