Yep. But that thin line between exstacy and accidentally hitting the eardrum a little too hard... YOW!!

I produce massive amounts of earwax. Qtips led to impact. Twice a year I flush with the bulb and warm water. Sometimes with ear wax solution. Actually had hearing loss a few times.

Wow 4 pages and no one corrected OP. They are cotton swabs not Q-tips. Q-tips is a brand name.

Once I found the ear clitoris I became a Q-Tip user. No shame, I am addicted.

No sir...in this house we use Q-Tips and Q-Tips only. Paper stick, firm cotton. If you come at me with that blue plastic with a speck of cotton on the end of it to clean my ears we would no longer be friends.

They should be illegal. They don't have any other use. They scrape and damage the sensitive ear canal, pack in ear wax and cause tons of infections especially in kids. Adults ears are scarred up from them by then

This is hyperbole. Maybe if someone has never cleaned his ears before and shoved a q-tip down the ear canal - that could happen.

If you just shower regularly and clean your ears with a q-tip after getting out, you will not have the buildup that would allow "packing" earwax against the eardrum.

Gently cleaning the ears regularly is just fine. The problem is some people are mongoloids and have zero common sense.

Thank you. There are certain things not to worry about saving money on. Q-tips and toilet paper are two of them.

Everyday when I get out of the shower.
Ears are clean and I can hear extremely well.
Never understood the issues with them .

I used to get ear infections were my ear would swell shut and they had to shove a wick in there to get medicine in. Got tired of that, so I started hitting my ears with a Qtip straight out the shower. Not one ear infection since.

I don't use them, my wife does. I always just ran water in my ears when I showered.

You understand that some products become so synonymous with a certain brand that that brand takes over the product name?

Kleenex. Scott towels, windex. Not really a thing that needs correction.

Wrong. It feels amazing - that’s what it does. That’s why I do it. It’s not the only thing I do that feels good and isn’t good for me.

Baw you should give Q-tips a go when cleaning all the small parts of a cars interior! And/or your AR-15.

If you've ever wondered if sex feels better for a man or a woman..think about sex and then think about a good fresh Q-Tip after a shower AND THATS JUST YOUR EAR!!!

The ear clitoris is undefeated.

Bought a Wush a couple months ago, will never go back to q tips. It’s basically an ear pressure washer and easy to use in the shower.

But I’m amazed at how much wax I pull out.

Maybe some people mess up the technique. I start twisting the q-tip as it enters the ear canal. It only touches the sides of the canal. And then I twist it on the way out. Repeat until a clean q-tip comes out.

Never experienced impacted wax. But I still get wax on my earbuds.

I prefer an ENT vacuum the wax out. Cheap, easy and fast. Feels great afterwards. Flushing can damage your eardrum if done incorrectly.

For one, different people have different types of ear wax. It's a genetic thing.

I get a lot of wax and if I didn't clean my ears then I would have yellow crust coming out of them. Nasty. I use q-tips every day. They are one of the most essential items in my travel kit.

A few years ago I went to an ENT to get them cleaned and he told me I had two of the cleanest ears he'd ever seen and that I didn't need a cleaning.

Pouring a little peroxide into your ear and letting it work also feels pretty good. It will remove any buildup or dry shite the qtip can't get.

I get it you don’t like q tips, but this seems a bit excessive
