Do you believe the world will end soon?

First, I want to announce that I will no longer capitalize the first letter of every word in the subject line..
Now to the topic. There is a thread on the politics board of some dude requesting everyone pray for our country.. From everyone to the president down to our mayors because of the direction this country is going in. He also thinks Jesus will be returning soon.
As for as I can remember there have always been people who thinks the world is coming to an end soon. People thought it would end in 2000, people thought the Mayan calendar was telling us the world would end in 2012. Do anyone truly believe the end is near?
For those who think it will end when Jesus returns, do you think he will be returning soon?

In Gods eyes, a year is only a second so "soon" is a word that is vague so I can't answer your question. I hope it's soon. Too many people need to answer for what they've done. It is well with my soul.
