It’s a dying art...what in days past would have been.

Oh, how I long to gaze hungrily upon thy countenence, to let my vision dance upon the hills and valleys of your beauty laid bare. Each meeting thrills the imagination with what delicate lace and gossamer threads hold secret, betrayed by the Elegant sway of a veiled goddess. Slake my thirst for thee and end my suffering, and permit to me the revealaton of thy graceful figure’s inner sanctum.

Is today...

After the Civil War letters from the front, the written word decline was real.

Now don’t get me wrong, sometimes I wax laconic too. Most of the phrases i’ve coined are brief.

It’s about using words effectively, to their intended purpose. Sometimes that means a single word containing a tome.
Sometimes it means dressing a single moment in a lilting lullaby of languid linguistic lore.

I think human society has run its course and descended into madness with all these putrid idiotic social justice issues.

I don’t have faith in “self-serving preachers and their golden pulpits.”
My faith is in a forgiving, loving, merciful God that makes life fun and let’s me a better person tomorrow than I was today.

The world will end soon. It depends on your idea of soon. 1 day? 1 year? 100 years? 1000 years? All are soon relative to the age of the universe.

Chicken must love your arse; it's very possible he pays you. If he doesn't, he should.

And to how God defines “time.”
Time is a human invention.

What if 7000 years to us is 5 minutes to Him?

I like Jesus. He's easy to dance to.

I mean, I try not to mock those with true faith. I’m just soured on the whole thing. My faith went in the ground with my brother.

Probably end with a whimper. Population begins to contract, asteroid hits the earth as the population dwindles and they're incapable of surviving due to dependence on technology.

I like the fact that I can stand here on my own two legs and really look at the world. I’ll always have the ability and curse of being able to stand on one leg and see things in that light, then maybe return later to stand on the other and truly see things totally.

Disagree. One thing about humans is that we are surprisingly adaptable. We’ve spread to every continent on the globe. We’ve dammed rivers and drained swamps and leveled mountains. We’ve survived plague and famine and global war.

Sure, many may die, but I think you’d see a sort of reset, a return to Bronze Age stuff as humanity was reborn. And in time the stories would turn to legends would turn to myths, and the young people would never believe that man once flew in the air like a bird, or created a magic box that could see across the world.

Hell, maybe we’ve already done so. Many times

Probably do. Might have even had an advanced civilization at one time.
