You’re a man who has glimpsed past the veil...tell me, what makes you have such strong faith in self serving preachers and their golden pulpits?

It's such a hard concept to wrap your head around. I truly believe it will happen one day

Premise is fake

There is no angry Father.

It was propaganda by rabbis herding flocks of nomads.

Divinely inspired?
Just creative writing

Truer words never were spoken. Religion has done a hell of a job keeping the sheep in line.

There are gods beyond our reckoning. Antediluvian and cruel, speaking to the beast man within. These new gods were crafted more in our form.

If by soon you mean around 7 billion years when the sun swells and engulfs the Earth, yes I believe it will end then. Humans will have been LONG gone by then.

Now this is something we may find common ground on. In my dreams I die on battlefields. I love women. I drink with the dead.

There is something that lies beyond the veil, more than this brief existence.

The frick? How? You wound me.

I’ve just experienced things i can’t explain and it’s changed my philosophy and the way I view our existence.

OweO can’t string a paragraph together without lying and sounding like a Window licker

Not until the asteroid impact.

2038-2042 will be four medieval years and another 50 before we fully rebuild.

ETA: Apologies... I’ve lifted the veil and seen beyond the pall. Have your land in high places and ready to last by 2033, just to be sure.

You say in 100 words what could have been like 20.

Only because language drifts toward efficiency and throwbacks to the high tongue lose modern brevity.

And I can twist a 1000 into a sentence.

Brevity is the soul of wit, but there are times wit won’t do justice.

We have at our disposal a menagerie of language. The ability to weave a tapestry of words to paint a picture more fully.

And I know, I find myself skimming through articles and not able to be bothered to read a wall of drivel as well, and our attention spans grow shorter.

I just write what I feel.

I guess so does Oweo.

No hard feelings, just pointing out that you and he have more in common than you would care to admit.
