I tend to agree there’s something like it but until it’s proven I don’t think much on it.

Yes from a few 2nd hand experiences and I guess 1-2 of them qualify as 1st hand.

Those have helped convince me that the crazy things detailed in The Telepathy Tapes podcast are fairly accurate, which has blown my mind. It seems like we could all learn from these stories and improve our lives immediately through meditation techniques.

Probably. I think electromagnetic fields are likely, similar to sharks but underdeveloped.

Maybe it’s why your Spidey senses tingle when you walk into a place: there’s a disturbance in the force

I do not think its "extra" I think at times we are simply more attuned to the world around us than we are at other times. Depends on the situation. I also think that primitive people were FAR more attuned to the world around them than we are today because their survival depended on it more than ours does today. We still possess that ability. We are cognizant of much more shite than our ancestors were....driving a car is a prime example....we are processing information at nearly the speed of light, making physical and mechanical adjustments with almost no thought while drinking a cup of hot coffee and jamming to our tune on the radio. When you spend an inordinate amount of time operating at that capacity, and we all do for many hours a day to some degree, one does not have time to process seemingly less important information like what someone is likely to say next....but we still possess the ability and it manifests itself at times making it seem like an unusual event when in fact its just the human brain doing human brain shite....

The amount of replies that believe in this makes me think of this book excerpt:

quote:

"A fire-breathing dragon lives in my garage"

Suppose I seriously make such an assertion to you. Surely you'd want to check it out, see for yourself. There have been innumerable stories of dragons over the centuries, but no real evidence. What an opportunity!

"Show me," you say. I lead you to my garage. You look inside and see a ladder, empty paint cans, an old tricycle — but no dragon.

"Where's the dragon?" you ask.

"Oh, she's right here," I reply, waving vaguely. "I neglected to mention that she's an invisible dragon."

You propose spreading flour on the floor of the garage to capture the dragon's footprints.

"Good idea," I say, "but this dragon floats in the air."

Then you'll use an infrared sensor to detect the invisible fire.

"Good idea, but the invisible fire is also heatless."

You'll spray-paint the dragon and make her visible.

"Good idea, but she's an incorporeal dragon and the paint won't stick."

And so on. I counter every physical test you propose with a special explanation of why it won't work.

Now, what's the difference between an invisible, incorporeal, floating dragon who spits heatless fire and no dragon at all? If there's no way to disprove my contention, no conceivable experiment that would count against it, what does it mean to say that my dragon exists? Your inability to invalidate my hypothesis is not at all the same thing as proving it true. Claims that cannot be tested, assertions immune to disproof are veridically worthless, whatever value they may have in inspiring us or in exciting our sense of wonder. What I'm asking you to do comes down to believing, in the absence of evidence, on my say-so.

I believe we are connected on a level that cannot be recorded or measured yet.

I think emerging ideas from the realm of quantum physics actually provides for the possibility that this is true. “Spooky action over distance” and “quantum entanglement” to me start to provide a framework for how “sixth sense” experiences might work. If we can create and observe particle entanglement, it’s a small step to the idea that this happens on a much larger scale between people. We do cute things like calling those experiences “intuition” but I think it’s all part of the same phenomenon, just seen through a different lens.

The people that can pass this test are smart enough to not take it. The minute you pass it you’ll become a government science experiment for the rest of your life. Duh.

Im still not very sure about it, but there are things thst happen that can't be explained. It goes beyond defying physics. Extra sensory perception? Guardian angels? Divine intervention? I don't know.
