if you have a good woman (or man), don't wait another day; buy them flowers or do something random today to show them you don't take them for granted and that they have made you a far better person than you would have ever been on your own.
I do this sometimes and I definitely go with the shock and awe method (a huge arrangement) delivered to her workplace. Preferably one so large that it takes up her whole desk.
One of my wife's colleagues immediately said that I must be having an affair. They were apparently serious.
How sad is that? They go so unappreciated in their own marriage that they are suspicious of people that show their appreciation to their spouse. That makes me feel so sorry for them.

I know my hubby is fantastic, and I try to tell him that often. Sure there's days (after 22 years of marriage) where I could kill him and bury the body, but I'm sure he feels the same way. I really struck me the other day when I was out of town for work, and he was handling our 18 year old daughter (no pics) travel ball for the weekend. She called me and said, I know dad & I butt heads, but he is so awesome. He just spent 10 minutes making sure my hair ribbon was right. It's gonna be hard for me & sis to find the right guys, cause he set the bar so high." If that's not proof that he's awesome, nothing is...

Holy shite that's my ultimate dad goal.

Getting this back on track
Not near enough, she probably deserves better than me. I married an unicorn. No, she is is not an OT 10 model (she is a 10 to me), just a complete package of beauty and brains.
Time has a way of letting you lose focus on what you have been blessed with, then those moments come where you look at her and it all comes rushing back.
Tonight is date night, cannot wait.

I will tell you, words hurt women.
Watch your tongue, because one day there'll be time when you wish to God you could take them back.
Time with the ones you love can be a lot shorter thsn we want it to be.
Don't waste it.

Not as much as I should, but I am fairly certain I appreciate her more than she appreciates me.
Unless she needs something. Which is often. Would that be considered "appreciating" or just needing a task done?

My world would be completely over if I lost Manders and Walton
She puts up with a LOT of shite from me and my attitude from time to time or my reluctances to do things.
I can't hardly imagine being without my family at this point. And my God, I would be fricking terrified to date these thots these days. I would just be one of many roster spots.
But if I was single again, I would NOT marry or be with a girl who has another kid.

It's a massive sign of maturity and growth that the OP recognized those faults.
Even bigger if he apologized. But he seems to be ignoring my post about it. I’ll have to assume he hasn’t. He’s not that mature then.

First wife? No, simply because she absolutely never appreciated me. I appreciated and worshipped her, but that was never reciprocated.
My second wife does. Now I'm up in my feels. She's home today and now she's about to get some appreciation.

gonna admit it; some strong memories resurfaced this morning and i am still feeling guilty from recently pulling a stunt where i got pissed off over NOTHING and stormed out of the house to cool down. what an a-hole.

What is His is Her's.
What is Her's is Her's.
Now shut up and go back to work until you die!

My wife is my rock. No other way of putting it. We’ve got our ups and downs but at end of day we are there to support/love each other and our family.
