If I know them personally and support their cause I don't see why not.

ETA- that being said, I'm not just going to let John Doe put his cheesy election sign on my lawn just because he knocked on my door.

Yes. I let them put 37 pieces of flair on my property, despite the fact the minimum amount of flair required is 15.

Occasionally, but only if they are a friend or someone I know well enough and believe they will do a good job. Have one in the yard right now.

If my wife, a few close friends or my parents ran for office, I would put up a yard sign for them. That's about it.
