In other words, perhaps it's time, and not aluminum.

I do somewhat agree with this. My rebuttal to vegans yacking about health problems from meat is that when predatory animals have their life spans increased due to captivity they die from things like heart disease. Does that mean that a lion isn't designed to eat meat because eventually it will damage its heart?

Yes. Armpits soak up what is placed on them. Aluminum in the body is bad.

Anti perspirants contain aluminum, not most deodorants.

As with anything you put on or in your body the fewer chemicals and metals the better.

I know some people look for alternatives nowadays because the aluminum supposedly makes you crazy and causes health problems. Do y'all think it's worth it to give up deodorant and find alternatives?

Idiots like you buy $12 tubes of fluoride-free toothpaste too.

I switched to a natural deodorant and it works just fine. Your body adapts after a while

Your nose just adapted to the putrid smell. Your BO is still very much prevalent and non-aluminum deodorant is not even close to being as effective.

Yeah, amazing how many people have no clue how much they stink. And FTR, there is no connection between aluminum and Alzheimer’s. From the Alzheimer’s Association:

https://www.alz.org/alzheimers-dementia/what-is-alzheimers/myths
quote:

Myth 4: Drinking out of aluminum cans or cooking in aluminum pots and pans can lead to Alzheimer’s disease.

Reality: During the 1960s and 1970s, aluminum emerged as a possible suspect in Alzheimer’s. This suspicion led to concern about exposure to aluminum through everyday sources such as pots and pans, beverage cans, antacids and antiperspirants. Since then, studies have failed to confirm any role for aluminum in causing Alzheimer’s. Experts today focus on other areas of research, and few believe that everyday sources of aluminum pose any threat.

It’s actually anti-perspirant that contains the aluminum compound that clogs up one’s pores. Plain deodorant does not.

I’ve never actually seen this non-anti-perspirant plain deodorant before. Does it really exist?

I’ve never tried it but I’ve heard of using baking soda under the arms works as well. You still sweat but supposedly it doesn’t smell.

Yea. It’s time to look into better alternatives, say without fricking aluminum.
