Although I did have a meeting today with a rep from an industrial supply company who was an absolute smokeshow. I'm sure she gets plenty of orders from lonely, desperate baws in the area.

Worked with a woman that had a fairly high up position and was also fricking the boss. She used to flip out fairly regularly and was known to throw things at people, but the boss (her frick buddy) never reprimanded her once. And this dude was known to fire people for practically nothing.

I have heard of some small business owners having "Pu$$y On Payroll"

Beautiful women who are intelligent and hard working already have every advantage they need to excel in business; they don't have to sleep around to move up.

Gotta be true in the entertainment industry (actresses, musicians, TV news reporters, etc.)

Don't know of any that slept their way to the "top" but know a few that slept their way to a lower level promotion or bigger raise, a different type of job, and also job security during layoffs/cutbacks. Also know a couple that didn't get followed through on because the coat tails were cut off when the guy was reassigned supposedly as a surprise and before any changes "could" be made through the proper HR channels. I'm thinking that is probably more common of a result than not.

Well, they were both having affairs on company property with someone who was several levels under them, so it was more than Eskimo bros.
I do like th think when they interviewed her, they ask her, “so, we know you’ve been sleeping with a managing director,”
And her response is “which one?”

Happens in the military all day every day.
Pretty PFC boot is usually a Corporal in a year and getting ready for a meritorious Sgt board while the males haven’t even made Lcpl yet.

One reason they might "think" about it.

I've seen it happen. Whitney Bank, premerger with Hancock, used to be a veritable orgy.

I had a boss tell me the only reason she hired me was because she wanted to frick me, but that was after she quit... so no career advancement for me.
Still had sex.
Still had sex.

A semi-attractive female in my company is rumored to have slept her way into her management position.
She adds fuel to the fire herself. She hired a young man to work for her a few months ago. While another employee, in the same position as the new hire, was in town training him she acknowledged how smart and talented his manager is. The manger was in the room and says, "Yeah, everyone just thinks I have this job because I sleep with my boss."
Who the frick says that in front of their employee.

Some do, yes. Then blame it on the system

I’d say it depends on the industry. I’m an accountant and sleeping with the boss won’t get you very far in my world. The only woman I know that tried ended up getting fired for being a work place distraction.
I think in the entertainment industry, whether music or film related, sexing your way to opportunity is more prevalent.
