I use the self-checkout. That makes me a hero.

There’s still one stairwell at work that has a COVID era sign that designated the stairwell as a “down” stairwell. I guess it was the same theory as the one way shopping aisles at grocery stores that saved millions of lives. I joke with my coworkers when we use the stairs that we have Down Syndrome but they don’t laugh. Retards.

How do you type heroes wrong 3 times? I cannot fathom adults who don’t know the difference in plural and possessive.

Over 1M people died in the US alone. One of my best friends is a critical care RN and they witnessed some absolutely horrible stuff. Not enough equipment, vents, rooms and understaffed. Chaotic days on end and they still showed up to care for people. FaceTimed family members so they could say goodbye before hooking up a patient to a vent. Lots of medical staff have ptsd now. They are absolutely heroes.

I don’t care about your nurse friend. She’s not a hero. She will never be a hero .

And frick them and your ptsd bullshite. Comparing themselves like they were in a war. frick your nurse friend for even attempting that comparison

Ship you and your nurse friends off to Ukraine and let russia finish y’all off

Wait so I’m a badass if I don’t think a nurse is a hero? Neat.

A fathom is about six feet or 1/1000 of a nautical mile. So you can’t 6 feet adults makes no sense.

John Mulaney has good take on heroes as presented in the media. He says NY Post articles have only a few sorts of people: angels, heroes, pervs, and bozos.

A "hero" is any man who does his job. You a lot of times see headlines that are like, "hero tutor teaches after school", and you're like, yeah.
